What is in the Boat Meter Kits ?
The BM999 Hull Corrosion and Water Testing Kit contains both Boat Hull and Water REDOX modes and displays results sharp and clear on a backlit display. Monitoring your Hull potential with the Boat Meter Kit lets you know the condition of your sacrificial anodes and the rate of corrosion of your hull. The Water Testing readings taken with the Boat Meter Kit will allow you to pinpoint any sources of corrosive conditions which includes Stray DC.
Boat Meter (BM999)
Cathodic Protection Reference Electrode
The Cathodic Protection Reference Electrode is a Silver /Silver Chloride Reference electrode specically designed to measure the condition of boats and submerged metal structures in water, most commonly sea water.
Platinum Redox Sensor
The Model BM9999ORP sensor should be used in conjunction with the BM9999 Cathodic protection reference electrode and BNC Adapter. Used for detecting stray DC. N.B. Only available in the Hull & Water Kit.
Tough Carry Case
A Rugged Waterproof polymer case with a specific foam insert for the Boat Meter Kit. The case is built with structural reinforcement to protect the contents should it be dropped. Its designed to be waterproof and float should it go overboard.

The meter is powered by 4 x AA batteries and the meter is equipped with an automatic off battery life saving function should you forget to turn it off.
