Hull Potential Meter Kit

Contains everything you need to measure the Hull potential of your Boat Hull, drives or any underwater metal components. Just connect the Reference electrode to the black (Negative) Terminal and drop into the water and connect the Hull to the Crocodile clip on the cable which is connected to the red (Positive) terminal.

The result is displayed clearly in mV (millivolts) and has an automatic stability indicator which freezes the result when ready. This normally takes around 30 seconds. Simply store the result in the Boat Meters memory so that you can track the condition of your Hull. Reviewing this data may help to decide when to replace your sacrificial anodes. The Micro USB output will allow you to dump the results directly into excel for easy reference and plotting the progress of the corrosion.

The Boat meter also has a WATER REDOX mode which allows for the subsequent addition of the Platinum REDOX Electrode. This will allow the measurement of the Corrosion potential of the water in Marinas or any waterway to locate areas of corrosive water. This includes the ability to locate the source or proximity of stray DC.
